Back of House Tour to Ocean Park Halloween on 18 October 2012

 On 18 October 2012, HKAAPA held its first event at Ocean Park Hong Kong bringing a group of 25 behind the scenes of Halloween Bash, 2012. It was a unique opportunity for all to learn about one of the largest Halloween events in the world. The afternoon included a presentation by Paul Pei, Executive Director, Sales and Marketing revealing some of the marketing programs that has helped to make the event so successful for 12 consecutive years. Mr. Todd Hougland, Executive Director, Operations and Entertainment unveiled some secrets about the "anatomy of a scare," and the professional planning in creating the scares. The group visited the wardrobe and make up center to see costumes and make up for over 500 characters that create Halloween magic plus a close up look at the details of 2 haunted houses with the lights on. It was truly a very memorable and remarkable experience for everyone. The group continued to enjoy all the shows and other haunted attractions throughout the rest of the night.
