HKAAPA Education Program and Chinese New Year Gathering at the AIA Carnival on 25 February 2026

The HKAAPA Education Program and Chinese New Year Gathering was held at the AIA Carnival on 25 February 2026.

Mr Chi Ho Law, General Manager, Hong Kong Observation Wheel, started the program with an introduction of the AIA Carnival 2026. He led the participants on a tour to the Carnival and highlighted the special elements of the various attractions.

A Chinese New year gathering was arranged at the Etihad Harbourside VIP Lounge where participants mingled while enjoying snacks and drinks.

Mr Josh Myers, Managing Director, and Mr Matthew Yau, Group Marketing Director of Great Entertainment Group, together with Mr Chi Ho Law presented an interactive sharing on “The Changing Landscape of Hong Kong Events”.  Insights and ideas were exchanged in areas covering event attendee demographics, marketing and communication, licensing, content strategy, social media management, collaboration with partners and brands, service providers and local expertise, as well as venue challenges.

The program continued with a world-class show - “The Winter World Circus” from the globally renowned Gandeys Circus.

Participants stayed to continue the fun at the Carnival, after the show.
