HKAAPA Education Program in Hong Kong Disneyland on 23 June 2014

HKAAPA Education Program was held in Hong Kong Disneyland Resort on 23 June 2014.

The program started with an opening remarks by Mr. Paul Pei, President of HKAAPA; Executive Director, Hotel & Hospitality, Ocean Park Hong Kong. Mr. Damien Lee, Vice President, Operations, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, shared on the topic of Storytelling is in Disney's DNA. He used the park's latest themed area, Mystic Point, as an example of how storytelling is approached. Ms. Darlene Brady, Director, Food & Beverage Operations, Hong Kong Disneyland Resorts, presented on how F&B plays a special storytelling role in satisfying the guests' appetites. Ms. Mary Yau, Director, Learning & Development, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, presented on some of Disney's magical ingredients used to equip Cast Members so that they can bring each story to life for the guests' enjoyment.

Participants had this opportunities to enjoy the fabulous Mystic-themed menu in Explorers' Club Restaurant, Mystic Point, Hong Kong Disneyland. A guided walk of Mystic Point is arranged after lunch for participants to understand the unique Disney storytelling approach.
